The 1/144 HG Freedom...what can I say, this model is one that you should take the time to make it look like no other gundam you have laying around in your room! Build this gundam with great care, the finishing product is amazing, you'll want to keep it in a glass case and cherish it forever. It's not too hard to paint either! You can grab the paint you need from the paint section if you need to. Freedom is originally built by ZAFT, but piloted by the Earth Alliance's Kira Yamato. The oversized wings on its back house an array of thrusters and can unfurl into ten separate wings. Freedom Gundam carries with it a Neutron Jammer Canceler, which means that it is not effected by the nullification of nuclear reactions by the Neutron Jammers. This means that Freedom Gundam is powered by a conventional nuclear reactor instead of a battery, which gives it an unlimited life span for its Phase Shift armor.

this is a good kit for some reason most not all says it sucks but this is a good kit. once again there is alot of painting for the beam rifle, beam saber, wings, cannons in the wings, torso, and the sheild

The only thing wrong with this kit if you can even say that is it need a fair amount of painting. The kit is great one of the best HG Seed kits I have and I have all of them along with all the HG destiny models out at the moment as well. I was worried about the wing and beam rifle when i got it but they were very easy to paint and the wings are not as out of proportion as you think. If they were any bigger they would be too big for the model to support in all it�s a great kit worth the buy.

this kit is the lousiest kit i bought, i had a 1/144 justice gundam and it is a lot better than this. the plasma cannons at the wings were so short, (the wings were oso too short,)and the beam rifle was way too lousy, not even moulded in the right colour which is black, bandai gave us a grey one instead!!! i really hope bandai would improve on this kit. to all fans of freedom gundam, i reckon u rather spend twenty dollars more on a 1/100 kit, but if you have money, trust me, i bought one before, buy a 1/100 master grade freedom gundam. its wotrh the money A LOT MORE than this stupid. i had to make the wings longer!!!

very bad, almost nothing is proportional on the body except the head when i built it i decided that i wasnt going to paint this and i *kit bashed it* and molded some new pieces and made and actual "Strike freedom"
putting together the hg strike and this together with some molding and paint looked incredible

The model is quite nice, but I was annoyed at how much there was to paint, especially the shoulder beam cannons and the beam rifle. The thing is that the beam rifle isn't of ANY color it should be. It's a gunmetal grey in the package, but in the photos it is black on the bottom, white on the top with a black scope, light blue scope lens, and a blue edge. Painting was very precarious.

Still, if you're up for an interesting and not-all-that-difficult (though if your paints some how get watery, you're going to have problems) project, this is right up your alley.

Great posability, btw, and when painted it looks super cool. However, when painting, you need STEADY hands and a good, fine detailing brush.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

The proportions are all off. Only the head seems to be properly proportioned; which basically looks large cause every other body part is smaller than the norm. Its much shorter compared to other 1/144 HGs such as the Justice and the Strike.

Needs a lot of modding to look right.

At least you have a base to work with...

sort of disappointing becuase of the colors. i guess bandai did its best to get the correct colors but there are just too many colors on freedom. its gun was a pain to paint. the best part is its head..looks awesome and somewat evil.
